Tarot
In this a deck of cards with symbolic imagery is used to serve as a means to stimulate our intuition and help us to tap into the unconscious parts of ourselves. The deck is divided into four separate suits Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles and each suit represents a particular energy and is associated to an element. Understanding the characteristics of each suit and their correlating element deepens one’s understanding of the various Tarot card meanings.
- Wands-Element is fire and signifies action, movement, fertility etc.
- Cups-Element is Air and signifies ideas, concepts, abstract thinking etc.
- Swords-Element is Water and signifies emotions, love, compassion etc.
- Pentacles-Element is Earth and signifies physical body, possessions etc.
